Gennimata Accuses Govt of Lack of Measures for the Support of Tourism

ATHENS — Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata late Tuesday criticised the government for lack of measures for the support of tourism, speaking to Star TV ahead of the general opening to tourism on Wednesday.

She said that the tourism sector has received a major blow because it is known that a large part of Greece's GDP depends on tourism. "That's why we αre asking from the government to take measures for the support of tourism," Gennimata said.

"VAT should be reduced to 6 pct to make the Greek tourism competitive," Gennimata proposed among others.

Finally, she said that the health protocols do not exist.
