Gastronomy Festival “Taste of Athens” Opens Its Doors on Thursday

ATHENS – The gastronomy festival “Taste of Athens” will begin on Thursday, July 7, at the Zappeion Mansion, with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organisation and AEGEAN airlines.

The festival presents the top restaurants in the country and showcases Athens as one of the foremost international gastronomy destinations. Pop-up versions of the top 10 Athens restaurants will be present at Zappeion and will serve a special gastronomy menu, including some of their signature dishes, an announcement said.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy four days full of sublime tastes, entertainment and unforgettable experiences. Top chefs, iconic dishes and interactive events along with a strong music and entertainments programme with live performances and DJ Sets are on the festival’s ‘menu’. This year’s thematic pillars include the circular economy, a zero-waste philosophy as well as strengthening equal gender representation.
