Free Rapid Testing in Thessaloniki Finds 252 Positive

THESSALONIKI — The free rapid tests offered to citizens of Thessaloniki have uncovered 252 positive samples of covid-19 in a total of 3,402 tests performed, putting the infection rate of the samples at 7.4 percent, Greek authorities reported on Friday.

The rapid tests were carried out by teams from the National Public Health organisation on Thursday, in the area near the statue of Alexander the Great, while the median age of those testing positive was 32 years old.
