Free Drive-Through Coronavirus Rapid-Testing on Tuesday in Central Athens

ATHENS — Citizens can be rapid-tested for the coronavirus inside their vehicles (drive-through) on Tuesday morning, at the intersection of Piraeus and Ermou streets, in central Athens, from 10:00 to 15:00.

Medical staff of the National Public Health Organization (EODY) will carry out the rapid-testing.

Citizens must first send #1 to 10333 to receive their outing permit SMS, and must also be able to provide their AMKA social insurance number, their police ID number and their mobile phone number, so as to receive their test result shortly thereafter.


ATHENS - Greece confirmed 10,783 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with 55 of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Sunday.
