Fourlis to Build 55-Million-Euro Retail Park in Hellenikon

ATHENS — Lamda Development announced on Tuesday it has reached a partnership of strategic importance with Fourlis SA for the development of a retail park in the Hellenikon project.

In an announcement, Lamda Development said Fourlis will invest 55 million euros in creating the retail park located in Vouliagmenis Avenue. The retail park project will be developed in the first, five-year phase of implementing the emblematic Hellenikon project.

The two sidies signed a memorandum of cooperation which envisages that the retail park will be created in an area of 30,000 sq.m. "We are excited to reach this unique partnership. Hellenikon signals the beginning of a new era of growth and extroversion for Greece. We will contribute in this project, createing an pioneer retail park with international tenants, such as Ikea and Intersport," Vasilis Fourlis, chairman of Fourlis Group, said.
