Foreign Ministry: We Reject any Attempt to Tarnish Greece’s Image Through Unacceptable Fabrications

ATHENS – The Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry said Greece "categorically rejects any attempt to tarnish Greece's image through the projection of unacceptable fabrications," in social media on Saturday.

On Twitter, the Greek ministry added that "the appearance of such unfounded and blithe claims raises questions as to its timing."

The ministry's statement comes after a provocative Twitter post by Turkey's Communications Director Fahrettin Altun.
