Foreign Ministry Condemns Damage Ccaused on French Embassy

ATHENS – The foreign ministry made the following statement about the attack against the French Embassy:

“We unequivocally condemn the damage caused by members of an anarchist group who threw paint at the French Embassy. Unacceptable actions of this kind do not impact the friendship between Greece and France or the ties between our peoples,” according to the announcement on Sunday.

“The competent Greek authorities are taking every necessary action to find those responsible and bring them to justice,” the announcement added.

ATHENS - Deputy Tourism Minister Sofia Zacharaki in an interview with Athens-Macedonian News Agency referred to the strong dynamic with which started the tourism season in Greece this year noting that it is a follow up of 2022 when the performance of the tourism exceeded all expectations.
