NEW YORK – Cava Oinos, importer of selected Greek wines, presented specialty wines and savory snacks on June 4 at the city's new undiscovered wine bar, Stafili, 796 Greenwich Street in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan. The event, one of the first in-person since the easing of the pandemic restrictions, highlighted the exceptional Greek wines from Dougos Winery and Lantides Winery paired with delicious food at the charming venue. Attendees were transported to Greece through the flavors of the great food and wine as well as the hospitality at Stafili.

Cava Oinos Wines Sales Manager Crystallia Karl introduced each premium wine and the food pairings. The tasting began with the white wine Anosis from Lantides Winery, 100% Moschofilero, from the Peloponnese, paired with the arugula salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, honey and balsamic glaze dressing.

The refreshing Goldavine Chardonnay, also from Lantides, was the next white wine presented at the tasting, followed by Acacia Dougos Winery of the Assyrtiko variety combined with a dash of Sauvignon Blanc which also paired well with the salad and the bruschettes topped with cherry tomatoes, basil pesto and graviera flakes.
