Greek Tourism Leadership Sends Message of Safety from Kos

KOS, Greece -- The tourism ministry is sending a message of safety and solidarity with the political authority's visit to the island of Hippokrates, Kos. On the occasion of TUI's first landing on the island this year, offered jointly with Bild to the people that helped Germany to overcome the pandemic crisis, Tourism Minister Haris Theocharis and Deputy Tourism Minister Manos Konsolas visited the island to welcome them.

In a statement, Theocharis noted that from Kos begins 'the restart' (of tourism) with the first flight from abroad to a regional Greek airport stating that "we are all aware that it is a difficult year but we are certain that will be a safe year".

On his part, Konsolas said that Kos is a very safe destination as all the precautionary measures have been taken. Konsolas reffered to a new start where safety is holding the leading role.
