ATHENS – Destination Greece. Health First offers updated information online in six languages for the upcoming 2021 tourist season.
The Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organization website, Destination Greece informs travelers about the health measures taken by Greece for the protection of visitors to the country.
In particular, the content on the site, in addition to Greek and English, is also translated into German, French, Italian, and Russian, while the videos are subtitled in the respective languages.
The campaign and the operation of the site started in July 2020 with the aim of providing reliable and up-to-date information for visitors to Greece about the health measures and protocols applied by the country, as well as the rules that apply to travel to and from Greece.
Since its launch, the website has been visited by 445,000 unique users, with 649,000 total page views. Of those users, Germans visited Destination Greece. Health First at 18.99%, British 15.42%, French 14.56%, Italians 10.44%, Poles 7.01%, Dutch 5.66%, Romanians 5.48%, Swiss 3.50%, Belgians 2.65%, and Norwegians 2.08%, while 54.15% of users are men and 45.85% are women. In terms of age groups, 33.50% are 25-34 years, followed by 18-24 years (27.50%), 35-44 years (15.50%), 45-54 (12.50%), and 55-64 and 65+ (from 5%).
