Diane Kochilas and Johnny Livanos Host Wine & Meze Live Tasting & Pairing Class

NEW YORK – Diane Kochilas, celebrity chef, award-winning author chef, and host, creator and co-producer My Greek Table, will host a Wine and Meze Live Tasting and Pairing Class with Greek wine expert, restaurateur, and Stray Dog Greek Gin creator Johnny Livanos on September 20, 4 PM ET.

Participants will taste Greek wines alongside some popular Greek specialty foods from Kochilas' online shop in this virtual Greek getaway and learn a bit more about some of the unique regions of Greece where the delicious wines come from, and experience some of the most prized artisanal Greek food products made in various parts of the country.

Three bottles of wine are included, Douloufakis Dafnios White, Skouras Zoe Rose, and Kir-Yianni Ramnista Vineyard Xinomavro. The tasty Greek treats included are: Sun-dried Kalamata Figs, Organic Kalamata (PDO) Olives, Rusks made with Ancient Wheat, Spinach & Feta dip, Moussaka dip, and Manouri grilled cheese.

About the Hosts:

Diane Kochilas is one of the world's foremost experts on Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. She is the host, creator and co-producer of My Greek Table, the award-winning 13-episode per season cooking-travel show about Greece that airs nationally on Public Television. The series is in its third season.

Kochilas hails from the Blue Zone Greek island of Ikaria and New York City and brings a combination of innate Blue-Zone wellness and result-oriented NYC spirit to everything she does.
