FM: We Do Not Accept Advice from Third Countries

September 16, 2022

ATHENS – “Turkey, once again, is trying to involve itself in the internal affairs of another state, in violation of the fundamental rules of international behavior,” the foreign ministry said in a statement on Friday.

“Greece is a state governed by the rule of law, respects International Law and fully implements its international obligations as arising from international conventions, such as the Treaty of Lausanne – unlike Turkey,” it added.

“We do not accept advice from third countries, such as Turkey, let alone when this concerns Greek citizens,” the announcement of the foreign ministry added.
