Fire in Gorge in Nea Makri

A wildfire that broke out on early Wednesday in a gorge near Nea Makri (eastern Attica) is currently in progress.

The Fire Brigade said that currently inhabited areas are not threatened.

Nine fire engines with a 27-member crew assisted by 16 firemen on foot are battling the blaze.
