Fire Breaks Out on Tanker Offloading Crude on Samos; Crew Safe

SAMOS – A fire broke out for unknown causes in the fore section of a Piraeus-registered tanker in Kokkari, Samos as it was unloading crude oil.

The 17 crew members are all safe and well, with four fire brigade vehicles and a boat are operating to put out the fire, assisted by a coast guard rescue vessel and a tug.
