Fire Breaks Out on Cruiseship Tied for Winter at Corfu Port

ATHENS — A fire broke out around 15:30 on Friday on the 'MSC Lyrica' cruiseship while it was tied at the Corfu port since January 30 for the winter season.

Onboard were crew members only. The cause of the fire, which broke out at starboard, was not made known as of this writing.

Firefighters were trying to put out the blaze.
