Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
BRUSSELS – Finance Minister Christos Staikouras on Tuesday underlined the government’s priorities for Greece’s economy, in his meeting with the European Commission’s Executive Vice-President for Economy Valdis Dombrovskis, on the sidelines of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (Ecofin) meeting in Brussels.
Dombrovskis praised Greece’s reforms policy and said that “we welcome the forthcoming growth strategy – to continue with reforms and responsible budgeting.”
On Twitter, Staikouras wrote that “Today, I had the chance to meet with the Vice President of the EU Commission Mr. Dombrovskis and underline Greek economy’s priorities for achieving high and sustainable growth!”
