SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The United Hellenic American Societies (UHAS) hosted this year’s Blessing of the Waters at San Francisco Bay on February 6.

UHAS President Taso Zografos said: “It was a gorgeous day at Aquatic Park, and we had over 500 attendees who enjoyed a live band playing Greek music, a beautiful prayer blessing service, and 18 swimmers who retrieved blessed crosses. Our hope is to make this an annual event that gets bigger and better each year.”
