Father George Anastasiou of Transfiguration in Corona Named NYPD Chaplain

Father George Anastasiou, the pastor of the Church of the Transfiguration of Christ in Corona, Queens, seen above with Presbytera Aliki Anastasiou and Gorge Venizelos, the FBI’s Assistant Director in Charge, New York Field Office, was sworn in at 1 Police Plaza as police Champlain for the NYPD. He is also an honorary Inspector for the police department.
