Enterprise Greece Holds 87th Working Meeting of European Export Promotion Organisations

ATHENS — Enterprise Greece is organising the 87th working meeting of the Working Group of Information Professionals (WGIP) of the European Export Promotion Organisations, to be held as an online webinar, on Thursday and Friday.

Representatives of 23 organisations have confirmed their online participation in this year's meeting.

Given the current demanding environment, Enterprise Greece noted in a statement, the meeting's agenda will include the promotion of innovative marketing and communication tools, modern approaches to "country branding", innovative export services, but also ways to manage the post-pandemic reality.

The programme of the meeting also incorporates, as every year, the individual efforts and initiatives at a European level to support SMEs in the process of their gaining effective access to international markets.

Taking into account the concerns of colleagues of the European Export Promotion Organisations to invent new ways of promoting and providing comprehensive and effective support to their domestic export companies, Enterprise Greece decided for the first time to organise a bootcamp meeting on the second day that will give participants the ability to understand topics such as communication, marketing, etc.

Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, Enterprise Greece decided to turn the meeting into an online webinar that will take place on June 25 and 26, 2020.

The Working Group of Information Professionals (WGIP) of the European Export Promotion Organisations started in 1973 and aims to exchange ideas and best practices between European TPOs in the field of information processing and dissemination.
