Eight Confirmed Coronavirus Cases in Greece

THESSALONIKI – The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Greece has risen to eight, with another one patient testing positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes the disease.

It is a middle-aged man related to the fifth case, herself a friend of the 38-year-old woman in Thessaloniki, who was the first case diagnosed in Greece.

The case was diagnosed by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School’s Microbiology Laboratory.
