Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
CHICAGO – On the centennial of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, a concert by the Utopia Music Project titled “Echoes of the Past: Asia Minor in Greek Songs” takes place on Sunday, October 9, 5 PM Central Time, at the University of Chicago Logan Center Performance Hall, 915 E 60th Street in Chicago.
Presented by the Consulate General of Greece in Chicago, the University of Chicago Center for Hellenic Studies and the Asia Minor and Pontus Hellenic Research Center, the event includes a cocktail reception at 5 PM followed by the free concert at 6 PM.
