Earthquake Measuring 4.2 on Richter Scale Shakes Etoloakarnania

KASTRAKI, Eteloakarnania – An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale was felt in parts of Eteloakarnania in western Greece at 23:50 on Tuesday.

According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicentre of the quake was located 10 km west of Kastraki, Eteloakarnania at a focal depth of 19 km.

The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the quake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale and its epicentre was located 15 km east southeast of Katouna, Aitoloakarnania.
