Earthquake 4.8 on Richter Scale Registers Near Kalavrita, Achaia

ATHENS — An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale registered at approximately 18:00 on Thursday, with an epicenter 13km northwest of Kalavrita town and a focal depth of 51km, according to the National Observatory of Athens' Institute of Geodynamics.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) registered a 5 Richter scale reading of the same quake, with an epicenter 12 km southwest of Egio city.

No injuries or damages have been reported so far.
