Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
HEMPSTEAD, NY – The Daughters of Penelope Pasithea # 141 of Hempstead host their Annual Honey Party, Wednesday, November 10, 6 PM, at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Paul Fr. Nicholas J. Magoulias Cathedral Center, 110 Cathedral Avenue in Hempstead, NY. Admission is $35 and includes one playing card, dinner, soft drinks, coffee, and dessert. Additional cards $3 each or two cards for $5. Dinner served 7-8 PM. Raffle and 50/50 also available with many prizes and proceeds go toward scholarships, sponsoring a child at St. Basil Academy, and supporting the Cathedral of St. Paul.
