NEW YORK – After a successful run at the Village East Theater in Manhattan September 29-October 2 and at the Pelham Picture House in Westchester October 5-6 with encore presentations of two of the most popular films of the past year: King Otto and Tailor, the Hellenic Film Society USA’s New York Greek Film Expo continues with screenings this weekend, Friday, October 7 through Sunday, October 9, at the Museum of the Moving Image, 35th Avenue at 37th Street in Astoria, and at the Alpine Cinemas, 6817 Fifth Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

My Name is Eftyhia, directed by Angelos Frantzis, will be screened at the Alpine Cinemas in Brooklyn on Sunday, October 9, 4 PM. Friday, October 7, 7 PM- Magnetic Fields (Μαγνητικά πεδία), directed by Yorgos Gousis, follows two strangers who meet by chance and forge an unexpected relationship.
