District 6 AHEPA, DOP Sponsor St. Basil Academy Annual Rocking Horse Ranch Trip

HIGHLAND, NY – Meteora AHEPA Chapter 455 of West Nyack, NY, spearheaded the joint venture with District 6 AHEPA, Daughters of Penelope (DOP), and Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in West Nyack, to send the children and families of Saint Basil Academy to their Annual Rocking Horse Ranch Excursion in Highland, NY, on May 27.

The children of Saint Basil had an all-inclusive two-day event that included horseback riding, indoor/outdoor pools, water slides, mountain tubing, banana boat rides in the big lake, paddle boats, laser tag, arcades, nighttime live shows, games, all-you-can-eat dining, and many more activities.

“Children and adults alike had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave,” Meteora Chapter President Michael Tribunella said. “That’s how you know you had a truly successful event. Life is all about great memories one has. Till next year!”
