Dep. FM Fragogiannis: We Are Promoting “Science Diplomacy”

ATHENS — The progress that has been achieved in terms of increasing exports and attracting investments, but also in terms of the digitisation of services in Greece, combined with the importance given by the government to start-ups and science diplomacy, was highlighted by Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis, in an online seminar organised by the Hellenic Innovation Network, in collaboration with the Greek Consulate General in Boston.

Fragogiannis praised the efforts to promote innovation and the activities of science diplomacy, during the event held on Thursday.

"The government's goal is a new, modern and open diplomatic model aimed at activating forces around the world. The idea of establishing science diplomacy in the ministry was certainly the result of the work done by the Greek Consulate in Boston with Stratos Efthymiou, the Hellenic Innovation Network and the MIT Enterprise Forum Greece," he underlined.
