Dendias to Participate in Berlin Process Foreign Ministers’ Meeting

ATHENS — Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will participate in the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Berlin Process on Monday co-chaired by Bulgaria and North Macedonia.

The meeting with will be held via video call and Dendias, who will intervene at approximately 12:30, will focus on the challenges and the opportunities for Western Balkans in terms of regional cooperation with emphasis on the people's contacts especially the society of the citizens and the young.

Dendias is expected to underline Greece's focus on the European prospect of the Western Balkans, which constitutes a "geostrategic investment" for the promotion of safety and stability in Europe, diplomatic sources said.


ATHENS - While Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was in Washington to meet US President Joe Biden, rival parties insisted he must try to stop the planned sale of F-16 fighter jets to Turkey.
