Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS –Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of consultations on matters of common interest, following their meeting in Riyadh.
Earlier, Nikos Dendias and Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos had a meeting on Tuesday with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf in Riyadh.
The meeting focused on Greece's close ties and growing cooperation with the countries of the Gulf as well as the recent developments in the wider region, the Greek foreign ministry posted on Twitter.
Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and National Defence Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos are visiting Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, April 20, in order to hold a series of meetings with senior government officials in the context of promoting and consolidating diplomatic diplomacy between the two countries.
In Riyadh, the foreign minister will also meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and State Minister for foreign affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir.
Panagiotopoulos will meet with Saudi Arabia's Deputy Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and with the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
