Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
KYIV, Ukraine – Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met on Wednesday with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv. Dendias reaffirmed Greece’s steadfast support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine as well as of all states and reiterated that Greece will continue to stand by Ukraine and the Greek community in Ukraine, the foreign ministry posted on Twitter.
Dendias and the Greek delegation in Kyiv entered a bomb shelter with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba when air-raid sirens sounded during their meeting, with diplomatic sources reporting that both Dendias and the delegation were unharmed.
Earlier, Dendias laid flowers at the Memory Wall of the fallen defenders of Ukraine, paying tribute to those who lost their lives fighting for Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence.
