Delphi AHEPA Chapter 25 Moves Forward

NEW YORK – Delphi AHEPA Chapter 25, currently the largest chapter in the national and international AHEPA domain, held their Fall General Membership meeting on October 14 virtually via GoToMeeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Chapter President Theodore P. Klingos opened the meeting with a prayer for those impacted by COVID-19 and their families.  

Brother Paul J. Lountzis, President of Lountzis Asset Management, LLC, was asked to provide the Chapter with an overview of the current investment environment.  

Among the various items discussed during the meeting was the outlook for the chapter through the end of the year, as well as projected activities and events going forward into 2021. There was a unanimous vote to make a donation to the AHEPA Emergency Relief Fund to support the needs created by the devastating fires in California and the hurricanes in the south. Also discussed was the upcoming Veterans Day commemoration and the plan to have a memorial service on Sunday, November 8 at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity for fallen Veteran brothers and sisters.  

Chapter Brother and District 6 Governor Louis Katsos was in attendance and provided an update on the planned activities of District 6 and the AHEPA Hellenic Cultural Commission as part of our Bicentennial Hellenism celebration. Also in attendance was Brother and District 6 Secretary Chris Pappis, who has been extremely supportive in the technical production for these meetings.  

The officers for the 2020-2021 year are President Theodore P. Klingos, Vice President – Strategic Steering Basil Katsamakis, Vice President – Membership Dr. Sotirios G. Stergiopoulos, Executive Secretary PDG Michael Papaphotes, Recording Secretary John Metekidis, and Treasurer Chris Karis, CPA.
