Delaware Valley Region Religious Education Seminar at St. George in Media, PA

MEDIA, PA – With the blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey, on April 20, the Delaware Valley Region Religious Education Seminar was held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media, PA. Throughout the day the religious educators and principals from the 13 area communities participated in valuable group workshops and heard wonderful presentations from members of the newly reformed Metropolis of New Jersey Religious Education Committee, Dr. Zenon Christodoulou, Dr. Peter Tarhanidis, and Agapios Kyritsis.

The Metropolitan was represented at the seminar by the Chancellor of the Metropolis, the V. Rev. Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne Nektarios Cottros, who thanked all of the speakers and participants on behalf of His Eminence. Fr. Nektarios spoke of the importance of educating our young people in our faith, as well as the Metropolis’ commitment to continuing to provide seminars and resources to assist our dedicated teachers.
