Daughters of Penelope Menelaos Chapter 53 on AHEPA Centennial Celebration

ATLANTA, GA – Following church services at the Annunciation Cathedral in Atlanta on April 3, the Daughters of Penelope (DOP) Menelaos Chapter 53 held their monthly meeting. The members were honored to have Grand Vice President Georgette Boulegeris visit the Chapter.

After a Lenten lunch was served, Boulegeris initiated four new members into the Chapter and she also explained about the significant national projects that the DOP supports. The Chapter was truly thankful to have Boulegeris visit.

They also welcomed Guest Speaker Dr. Victor Polizos, Atlanta AHEPA Centennial Celebration Chairman, who explained about the AHEPA Monument being constructed on the Church grounds honoring the AHEPA Founders. The Chapter graciously donated $1,000 towards the construction of the Monument. Dr. Polizos also mentioned the events celebrating the 100th Anniversary of AHEPA in Atlanta where AHEPA was founded in 1922.
