Cypriot and Turkish MPs Talk at Asian Parliamentary Assembly Meeting

The Standing Committee on Political Affairs of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (ANA) met March 19 and 21 in Ankara. CNA reports that Cypriot and Turkish MPs “discussed the latest developments in the Cyprus issue as well as in the Middle East with Turkish MPs and other parliamentary delegations, participating in the meeting.”

An official press release revealed that the deputies discussed the role of the Asian Parliaments in promoting solidarity and prosperity in Asia and the enhancement of cooperation between the members of APA.
