SURREY, UK – Greek-born pianist Panos Karan continues his Bach Around the World series with part three of this musical journey as he travels to Quito.

He said via email that the capital of Ecuador is “a place of great importance to me.”

Karan continued, “With active volcanoes, green mountains, a charming historic center, and a stunning theatre, Quito is where I first landed in March 2011, before embarking on the very first musical adventure in the Amazon. This is the place that, nine years ago, helped open a new door, the one with the writing ‘Music Can Change the World’ written on it.”
