Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — The government extended attendance restrictions in all religions and denominations in Greece imposed during the coronavirus pandemic, to August 21, through a joint ministerial decision on Thursday.
It said that the maximum number of people attending liturgies, baptisms, weddings and funerals may not exceed 100 in any religion and denomination practised in Greece.
Specifically, as the Education & Religion and the Health Ministries noted, there is a maximum of 1 person per 5 square meters of surface area, and at least 1.5 metres between people in any direction.
