October 15, 2020

ATHENS — The Migration & Asylum Ministry signed an agreement on Thursday with contractors who will build the new, closed migrant and refugee facilities on the islands of Samos, Kos and Leros.

Migrant Minister Notis Mitarachi said in a social media post that "shortly, the new facilities will provide dignified living conditions for those who are turly entitled to them; they will protect everyone's health during the pandemic, and will strengthen the sense of safety, both of the residents and of the local communities."
