Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
The Conservative Party congratulated Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis on her decisive victory in the Republican primary contest for Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New York’s Eleventh Congressional District.
Congresswoman Malliotakis is the Conservative Party nominee in the general election, having been nominated by the New York State Conservative Party for the district that includes portions of both Staten Island (Richmond County) and Brooklyn (Kings County) earlier this year. As was the case for her successful election in 2020, the Conservative Party was the first political party to endorse the Congresswoman’s re-election for this year. With her victory in the Republican primary, Congresswoman Malliotakis will be the fusion candidate of both parties in the general election. She also has the complete and total endorsement of President Donald J. Trump.
“As the fusion candidate of the Conservative and Republican parties, Congresswoman Malliotakis will be a formidable candidate for re-election to what will likely be a majority conference that will advance President Trump’s America First agenda,” said Richmond County Conservative Party Chairman David Mario Curcio, who added, “the communist and socialist elements of the democrat party that presently control Congress are inflicting great harm to our republic. No one understands that threat better than Congresswoman Malliotakis. The path towards restoring the greatness of America begins with the defeat of the democrats in the Congressional midterm elections. The re-election of Congresswoman Malliotakis is an integral part of that effort.”
“Nicole Malliotakis has consistently had the support of the Kings County Conservative Party in the past and we are proud to once again endorse her candidacy for Congress,” said Kings County Conservative Party Chairwoman Frances Vella-Marrone,” who declared that, “she is a fighter and we need her in our corner to combat the far left agenda in the House of Representatives. The re-election of Congresswoman Malliotakis is key to bringing back conservative leadership to the House.”
“Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis has been a thoughtful advocate in both Washington and her district for laws, policies, programs and projects that will make not only the communities she represents but the nation as a whole a better place… The Conservative Party has done well in endorsing her for re-election,” said New York State Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar.
In accepting the Conservative Party’s nomination and endorsement, Congresswoman Malliotakis previously stated the following: “I thank the Conservative Party for its continued support as I stand up against the failed Biden-Pelosi policies that have given us hyper-inflation, made us less safe, and given government bureaucrats more control of our lives. Whether it’s supporting law enforcement, pushing for secure borders, or getting our economy back on track, I have pushed to restore common sense and sanity in Washington. We have helped thousands of constituents resolve issues and delivered millions of tax dollars back to our district for healthcare, education, and infrastructure. I look forward to continuing to work for the people of Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn.”
