Cold Front From Siberia to Affect Greece From Sunday

ATHENS – The transfer of cold aerial masses from Siberia to Greece will bring cold from Sunday 28 February accompanied by a huge drop in temperatures. The cold front will come to its peak on Tuesday. According to National Observatory's meteo service, meteo.gr, the highest temperatures will drop up to 10 degrees on the Celsius scale in comparison with Saturday 27 February while especially in Athens the temperatures will drop up to 7 degrees on the Celsius scale. 

In parallel, scattered showers are expected mostly in the eastern and southern parts of Greece on Sunday as well as snowfall in the mountainous areas while strong northerly winds will blow in the Aegean.
