Civil Aviation Authority Issues NOTAM Restricting Flights to and From Kastoria Airport

KASTORIA, Greece — The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority on Friday issued an Aviation Directive (NOTAM) that restricts passenger flights to and from Kastoria's "Aristotelis" airport for over a week.

The new NOTAM will be valid from Friday October 23 until midnight on Wednesday, November 4 and forms part of the measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

In particular, only planes on return flights with their crew (ferry flights) will be allowed to take off from Kastoria's airport, barring the following exceptions:

* Passenger flights in transit

* Crews and passengers of the following flights: state flights, sanitary flights, humanitarian flights, emergency flights and military flights.
