ALBANY, NY – The Albany AHEPA Family made a welcomed and generous donation of gifts and toys for the children and young adults being treated and cared for by the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center on January 9. They and the Albany Medical Center thank the St. Sophia Community for its generosity.
Special thanks and recognition are given to the Arthur Kontogiannis Family for its continuous support and dedication to the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center, and to Robert Saba, Director of Development, grateful patients and families for his leadership and support of the Children’s Hospital, as well as other hospital entities.

ATHENS - A regulation in an omnibus bill will allow repatriated Greeks from Albania and the former Soviet Union to receive full national pensions, Labor and Social Protection Minister Kostis Hatzidakis said during a discussion in Greek Parliament on Tuesday.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Two US military veterans who disappeared three months ago while fighting with Ukrainian forces against Russia arrived home to Alabama on Saturday, greeted by hugs, cheers and tears of joy at the state's main airport.
