Chicago PD Star Tracy Spiridakos’ Greek Vacation Shows Family’s Homeland

July 31, 2024

LOS ANGELES – Greek-Canadian actress Tracy Spiridakos, known for her television work and especially on Chicago PD – which she just left after eight seasons – spent some of her summer in Greece and her social media posts set off some sparks.

Her parents, George and Anastasia, were restaurant owners and while she was born in Winnipeg, the family moved to her father’s hometown of Skala, near Sparta, for a few years before returning to Canada in 1992.

She’s as much Greek as Canadian though and identifies with her heritage and spent some happy days back in Greece and let the world know it, showing herself off on a gorgeous Greek beach and posing with her family at a seaside dinner table.

“You are radiant in Greece,” one of her followers gushed under the post, said Parade. “Beautiful pics!” another person chimed in, telling Spiridakos, “Great to see your smiling face!!”
