ATHENS – The Central Archaeological Council unanimously approved a request submitted by “Real Madrid TV” to be granted permission to film on the Athens Acropolis.

The request asks permission to shoot three hours of film footage (between April 17 to April 19, 2018), without the participation of people or narrative, as part of its coverage of the basketball game between the Athens club Panathinaikos and Real Madrid.

It is one of many requests that the Council examines each year, which exceed 100 on an annual basis.
