NEW YORK – The marriage of Andrea Catsimatidis, 24, and Christopher Nixon Cox, 35, the grandson of Richard Nixon, is apparently about to end.
Catsimatidis, the daughter of billionaire and former mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis, filed for divorce on December 17, the New York Post reported.
The couple has been married for three years.
They met while Cox was working for the 2008 presidential campaign of John McCain.
Cox, who is the head of New York State’s Republican Party, is the son of Tricia Nixon Cox – daughter of President Richard Nixon – and Edward Cox.
Nixon’s Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, was among the guests in attendance at their high-profile wedding three years ago.
