California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis Endorses Joe Biden

SACRAMENTO, CA – On May 19, California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis announced her endorsement of Joe Biden for President of the United States.

“Vice President Biden will bring decency and honor back to the White House. He is the strong, steady, decent leader that our nation so desperately needs to safely put America back to work,” said Lieutenant Governor Kounalakis. “When I served as Ambassador, I worked with Vice President Biden in the Obama Administration to strengthen America's standing in the world and promote liberty and democratic values. I know first-hand that his expertise and vision on foreign policy equips him to be Commander in Chief on Day One.”

Lieutenant Governor Kounalakis' endorsement builds on the wide support for Joe Biden in California. Biden for President has previously announced more than 3,000 endorsements from national, state, and local leaders, including current and former U.S. senators and representatives, governors, state elected officials, community leaders, and national security professionals.
