Borrell Calls Extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council Meeting

BRUSSELS — EU High Representative on issues of Foreign Policy Josep Borrell announced on Wednesday an extraordinary EU Foreign Ministers Council meeting on Friday. "I will call an extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council meeting this Friday afternoon. We will discuss urgent issues and address the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Belarus Presidential elections, as well as developments in Lebanon" Borrell posted on his twitter account.

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will take part via video call from Vienna to the extraordinary EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Friday that will convene at Greece's request in order to discuss Turkey's illegal actions in the Greek continental shelf.
