Boones Greek’s Pizza N Gyro Menu Topped Only By Greek Spaghetti Dish

BOONES CREEK, TN – Regular customers of Greek restaurants and diners often rave over the basic, traditional foods like a gyro, but in Boones Creek, Tennessee, the Greek spaghetti at Pizza N Gyro made one of them give up cooking pasta at home.

Mark Rutledge, writing for The Reflector, said the food there was so good – was, because it has now just closed for good – that he and his wife called the place “Boones Greek,” an homage to the food and Daniel Boone, for whom it’s named.

“One could drive for hours and not find better food,” he said in praise of owner Maurice Jabbour, wife Claudine, and son, Matthew. The couple have retired.

“After we experienced the Greek spaghetti, we all but stopped going to the trouble of boiling pasta at home,” he said of the culinary experience and the dish made with red onions, green peppers, and marinated chicken.

Along with the truly awesome food, the greatest part of the Pizza N Gyro experience was becoming acquainted with Maurice. He quickly began to recognize our phone number and would answer: “Hello, my friend,” he said, “ready. Greek spaghetti.”
