Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
IOANNINA — The body of the pilot of a two-seater training aircraft that went missing on Sunday 31 January in the area of Zagorohoria, Ioannina region, was located next to the aircraft's debris by a rescue team that arrived at the site of the accident on Thursday morning.
The pilot, a 32-year-old Iraqi has severe injuries and a helicopter is expected to collect the body as the access to the specific area is very difficult.
The debris of the aircraft were located on Wednesday evening by a Canadair and a Super Puma helicopter that participated in the search and rescue operation.
