Body of Man Found in Lake Karla

ATHENS – The body of a man was recovered from Lake Karla and collected by an ambulance on Monday. The body must now be identified to confirm whether it is that of a man who went missing while fishing with his brother on September 22.

According to sources, the two brothers were fishing on the lake when their boat started to present problems. One of the two brothers managed to get out of the boat but the other did not and all trace of him was lost. A search to find the missing man has been underway since Friday.
