Blue Star Naxos Passenger Dies after Falling in the Sea

Paros, Greece – A 60-year old man on board the Blue Star Naxos passenger ferry died after falling in the sea for unspecified reasons, four nautical miles northwest of Syros.

The coast guard recovered his body an hour later and transferred it to Syros.

Two coast guard vessels, three nearby ships, a helicopter and a speedboat participated in the rescue operation.
